ILSC & College Greystone Montreal Temporarily Shift Classes Online
Following the recent Quebec provincial government announcement of new lockdown restrictions, effective from 5 pm on Monday, December 20th please note that ILSC and College Greystone Montreal will temporarily shift classes from in school to online from Monday, Dec 20, 2021, until at least January 7th, 2022. In-school delivery of classes will resume on January 10th, 2022 unless government guidance changes.
Students will continue with the same classmates for the remainder of the session so there will be minimal disruption to the classes. Students have also received an email and app notifications from the schools with instructions on how to join the online classes from home.
ILSC and Greystone College in both Toronto and Vancouver remain open to in-school delivery in accordance with provincial government guidelines.
Our student advisors, registration and sales teams are available to answer questions and provide assistance.

Following the recent announcement of new restrictions in the province of Quebec, ILSC and Greystone College Montr?al will temporarily shift from in school delivery to fully online classes for two weeks, from Monday, April 12 until at least the end of the session (April 23rd).
In response to increased risk to the safety of our students, staff, and faculty, we have also decided to temporarily shift ILSC and Greystone College Vancouver classes online during the same time period. British Columbia has recently experienced an increase in COVID cases (including variants of concern) and while the government has not mandated a return to online classes, health officials are urging everyone in the province to take extra care until more people are vaccinated. We will re-evaluate the situation in two weeks and provide an update before the end of the session. Students will continue with the same teacher and classmates so there will be minimal disruption to the classes.

학생들이 COVID-19 음성 검사 결과를 받으면 정부 호텔에서 풀려나 최종 격리 장소로 계속 이동할 수 있습니다.
2. 원래 예약 한 격리 시설로 전환
ILSC는 정부가 승인 한 호텔에서 원래 예약 한 ILSC 및 Greystone College 격리 숙소까지의 교통편을 마련하여 이전에 승인 된 캐나다 검역 가이드 에 따라 남은 11 ~ 13 * 일의 검역을 완료 할 수 있도록합니다.

Canada’s New COVID-19 Quarantine Measures, starting February 22, 2021
Dear Partners,
Further to the Government of Canada’s recent announcement and additional guidance provided by Languages Canada earlier today, we would like to update you about new COVID-19 quarantine measures that will be implemented for travelers arriving to Canada starting this coming Monday, February 22nd. Read on to learn what students should expect; how these new measures will work together with our existing quarantine packages; and how we’ll be supporting you and your students to meet the new requirements.
WHAT ARE THE NEW REQUIREMENTS?
Starting Monday February 22nd, along with current 14-16 day quarantine requirements and pre-arrival COVID-19 testing, the Canadian federal government will also require travellers to:
Take a COVID-19 molecular test on arrival in Canada
Stay in a government approved hotel for 3 nights while they await the results of this COVID-19 molecular test
WHAT DOES THE STUDENT’S ARRIVAL AND QUARANTINE EXPERIENCE LOOK LIKE?
From 12:01 am ET on Monday February 22nd, students who arrive to Canada’s four major international airports (Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and Calgary) can expect to go through the following steps:
1. Arrival and 3-days in a government-approved hotel
Students will proceed through immigration and receive a COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival
Upon clearing immigration, students will be escorted to the government-approved hotel in the city where they first land ? transportation from the airport to the hotel is included in the 3-day hotel stay package, which also includes cleaning and meals
An ILSC representative will contact students upon their arrival at the hotel either by phone or by email
Once students receive their negative COVID-19 test result, they will be released from the government hotel and can continue to their final quarantine destination
2. Transition to their originally booked quarantine accommodation
ILSC will arrange transportation for the student from the government approved hotel to their originally booked ILSC and Greystone College quarantine accommodation so that they can complete the remaining 11-13* days of quarantine in accordance with our previously approved Canada Quarantine Guide.
Note that some students may need to take an additional domestic flight to reach their final quarantine destination. This is permitted under the new requirement. If applicable and not provided by the government, ILSC will help arrange ground transportation to the departure airport and pick students up from their arrival airport to bring them to their quarantine accommodation.
Throughout the entire quarantine, including the 3-day hotel stay upon arrival to Canada, students can participate in online classes as planned.
The Government of Canada has also provided this helpful guide to show the steps involved in travelling to Canada.
* In Vancouver and Montreal, students will complete 11 additional days of quarantine. In Toronto, students will complete 13 more days.
HOW ILSC WILL MANAGE STUDENT QUARANTINE ACCOMMODATION CHANGES
ILSC and Greystone College are here to make these new requirements as simple as possible for our arriving students. For students who have already booked a quarantine accommodation package with us, we will issue a credit for 3 days of their booking, if applicable. In consultation with the student’s agent, we will then arrange to book the student’s government approved hotel and adjust the quarantine package invoice accordingly.
We understand these changes may seem complex, but want to assure you that our registrations, accommodations, and sales teams are actively seeking information from the Government of Canada in order to answer all of your questions. As more information is known, and depending on student arrival dates, we will reach out to you and your students to adjust their quarantine accommodations packages. ILSC 호주 재오픈!
지난 5월 18일 ILSC 애들레이드 캠퍼스의 재오픈에 이어서 ILSC 브리즈번, 시드니, 멜번 캠퍼스가 6월 1일 대면수업을 재개하였습니다. English Foundation, English Communication, EAP를 포함한 대부분의 수업들이 재개되었으며 ILETS, Cambridge 시험준비과정의 수업도 센터에 따라 선택적으로 운영되고 있습니다.
ILSC 호주에서 기존 제공되었던 Full-Time Intensive의 대면 수업은 운영되지 않고 오후 2~4시 수업은 온라인으로 제공하며, 현재는 Full Time (Full-Time Morning, Full-Time Afternoon, Full-Time Evening)만 대면 수업으로 운영중입니다.
ILSC-밴쿠버 재오픈!
ILSC 밴쿠버 캠퍼스가 7월 13일부터 재오픈이 될 예정입니다. 우선 Full-Time 주당 20시간으로 먼저 오픈이 되며 공용 공간과 교실에서 혼잡을 최소화하기 위해 수업 시작 /종료 시간이 조금씩 다를수 있습니다.
ILSC-토론토와 몬트리올은 현재 8월 내지 9월에 재오픈을 예상하고 있으며, Greystone College 는 재오픈 날짜에 대해 현재 내부적으로 논의중으로 확정이 되는대로 바로 안내를 드리도록 하겠습니다
Greystone College-캐나다 코업 'Next Step' 기간 업데이트
Greystone College 캐나다 코업 프로그램의 마지막 학업 기간 (Next Step, 2주내지~4주)에 대한 파트너 여러분들과 학생분들의 피드백을 검토하여 아래와 같이 변경되었음을 안내드립니다.
오는 7월 1일부터 Greystone College 캐나다 코업 프로그램을 등록하실 경우, 'Next Step'기간이 없어져서, 코업 이후 다시 학교로 돌아와 ‘Next step’을 하실필요 없이 코업 완료후 프로그램이 끝나시게 됩니다. 아래표에 ‘Next Step’ 기간이 빠진 변경된 코업 기간을 참조 부탁드립니다.
올 7월 1일이전에 코업 프로그램을 등록하신 경우는 아래표에 있는 프로그램인 경우 ‘Next Step’을 뺄수도 있고 하실수 있는 두 옵션이 있으십니다. 최근에 공지된 7월~8월 Greystone College 캐나다 프로모션 자료에도 기간 업데이트가 되었으므로 참조 부탁드립니다.

호주에서 약 2개월 가량 중단되었던 오프라인 대면 수업이 애들레이드 캠퍼스부터 지난 5월 18일부터 재오픈을 하였습니다. 학생분들의 안전한 학습이 진행될 수 있도록 강의실 내 좌석간 거리를 유지하고 있으며, 학생 라운지 및 카페테리어는 혹시 모를 바이러스 전파방지를 위해서 사용을 제한하고 있습니다. 안내해드린바와 같이 ILSC-브리즈번, 시드니, 멜번 캠퍼스도 6월 1일부터 재오픈이 되어 오프라인 대면 수업이 재개될 예정입니다. 아래 사진들은 오랜만에 학교에 되돌아온 ILSC 애들레이드 캠퍼스의 학생들의 모습입니다.
ILSC 온라인 수업 업데이트!
1. 온라인 프로그램 제공 시기 연장! 올해 9월 4일까지 제공되기로 예정되었던 온라인 프로그램이 호주 동부 AEST 시간과 캐나다 동부 EST 두 시간대에 한하여 캠퍼스 재오픈 시기와 별도로 온라인 수업을 등록하는 학생분들께 2021년까지 제공 될 예정입니다.
2. 온라인 수업 호주 동부 AEST 시간 변경 온라인 수업 호주 동부 AEST 시간이 오는 6월 1일부터 아래와 같이 변경됨을 안내드립니다. 온라인 캐나다 동부 EST 시간대는 기존대로 9 AM ~ 2 PM으로 제공됩니다.

무료 Microsoft 365 어플리케이션 액세스!
온라인 수업에 있어서 중요한 Microsoft 365 어플리케이션를 ILSC와 Greystone College 학생분들께 4월 17일부터 무료로 액세스 하실수 있도록 제공하고 있습니다. Microsoft 365 어플리케이션를 통해서 Teams 앱과, 화일과 수업 material을 액세스 할수 있는 Sharepoint, 컨텐츠를 classmate들과 쉐어할수 있는 One Drive도 액세스 가능하며, 프리젠테이션 스킬을 연습할수 있는 office Package도 액세스가 가능합니다. 현재 많은 회사에서 Microsoft 365 어플리케이션을 사용하고 있기 때문에 공부하시면서 미리 실제 사용하실수 있기 때문에 학생분들께서 많이 사용하고 계십니다.
Laureate International로 진학을 하기위한 패스웨이 정보가 업데이트 되었습니다. 가장 크게 변경된 것은 등록시점에 호주 내(On-shore)/호주 외(Off-shore) 학생들 모두 ILSC와 함께 패키지 등록이 가능하도록 변경되었습니다.
변경 전: 호주 내(On-shore) 학생은 Torrent의 EAP를 함께 패키지 하는 경우에만 패키지 가능

1. ILSC & Greystone College 온라인 테스트-유효기간 연장 기존 ILSC & Greystone College 온라인 테스트 결과 유효기간이 1년이었는데, 지금부터 온라인 테스트 결과 유효기간이 2년으로 변경되었음을 안내드립니다. 온라인 테스트 결과 유효기간은 온라인 테스트 한 날짜에서 프로그램 시작날짜입니다.
2. 온라인 비디오인터뷰 업데이트 -ZOOM 인터뷰 ILSC 및 Greystone College의 PROLA 온라인 레벨테스트 중 카메라와 마이크로폰이 없어서 Speaking Test를 생략한 경우, 별도의 인터뷰를 실시하게 됩니다. 이 별도의 인터뷰를 예전에는 전화 인터뷰를 통해서 진행했는데, 보다 편리한 연결과 안정적인 인터뷰 진행을 위하여 ZOOM 프로그램을 통해 진행하는 것으로 변경 되었습니다.

ILSC & Greystone College 온라인 테스트 ? 모바일 기기 사용 가능
ILSC & Greystone College의 새로운 온라인 테스트를 많이 이용해 주셔서 감사드립니다. 시험응시에 대한 편의성을 높이고자 노트북(Laptop)뿐만 아니라 안드로이드 휴대폰와 태블릿으로도 시험이 가능하게 되어서 더욱 편리하게 사용가능해졌습니다. 아이폰 및 아이패드로도 곧 시험이 가능할 예정이며 확정되면 이 부분은 다시 공지드리도록 하겠습니다.
지난 4월12일 Greystone College 밴쿠버와 토론토 캠퍼스에서 Greystone College Career Fair가 진행되었습니다. 이 행사에 호텔, 관광업체, 컨벤션 업체, 면세점, 마케팅 및 리서치 업체, 이민 컨설팅업체 및 다양한 판매직관련 업체등을 포함한 캐나다 현지 20여개 업체가 참여하였으며, 밴쿠버에 180여명과 토론토에 120여명의 학생분들께서 Greystone College Career Fair에 참석하셨습니다. 지난 4월23일 ILSC 밴쿠버 캠퍼스에서 학생분들을 위한 University Pathway Open House행사가 진행되었습니다. The Attestation is Quebec’s equivalent of the Certificate level program in other Canadian cities and Australia. This program covers International Business Law, Market Development Strategies, International Business Negotiations and more, and is designed to empower students with the necessary knowledge to pursue a career in International Trade.
Not only will students benefit from real world experience with a practicum at the end of the program, they'll also have the chance to participate in French workshops to boost employability.
