Our 2019 valedictorian, Minh from Vietnam, came to CATS Academy in 2017 as a sophomore.
During his time at CATS Minh studied 8 AP courses, was the leader of the DECA club where he was awarded first place in their state wide virtual competition for restaurant management, and participated in Youth Cities boot camp, an entrepreneurship competition, where he was one of five finalists.
In September, Minh will begin his studies at Carleton College, #5 in the National Liberal Arts ranking

Livia from Albania joined CATS Academy in September 2015 as a freshman (ninth grade).
Now in her senior year, she has received an acceptance to study at Northeastern University (#44 national university).
In this video, Livia talks about her experience with the college counseling team and the support she received to gain this acceptance. Minh from Vietnam joined CATS Academy in September 2016 as a junior (eleventh grade).
In 2017, he progressed to Brandeis University (#35 national university) where he is double majoring in Business and Economics.
He explains throughout this interview the encouragement he received from CATS to take part in extra-curricular opportunities, and how this helped him to progress onto Brandeis University.

All CATS Academy Boston students have three SAT/ACT test preparation classes per week.(일주일에 3 번씬 SAT/ ACT 수업) These classes are extremely helpful because international students are often unfamiliar with the specifics of the two major standardized tests (ACT and SAT) that they can utilize to help them gain entrance into top U.S. colleges and universities. All colleges and universities accept both, so a student is only required to take one.
Through CATS Academy Boston's Test Preparation course, students come to understand the nuances of the ACT and SAT, ultimately learning which test is the better fit for them on their path toward higher education.(학생들이 교사들과 프로그램의 도움을 받아 SAT 와 ACT 의 차이를 인지 하고 본인에게 맞는 시험을 볼 수 있도록 도움) By the end of the course, all students are familiar with the approach that can help them to correctly answer even the toughest ACT and SAT questions. Students also learn the format of each exam in order to prepare for different question styles. In addition to learning the unique tips for each test, students review commonly tested content. (학생들은 시험에 필요한 팁들을 교사들에게 전수 받고 또한 주로 자오는 문제들에 대해서 복습하게됨)Students are given baseline tests at the beginning of each school year that are followed through with frequent practice tests throughout the year to track their score progress before they take their official exams. The test preparation course covers all of the content that appears on the ACT and SAT, including: Mathematics, Science, English, Essay Writing, and Reading. CATS Academy Boston’s Test Preparation utilizes The Real ACT Prep Guide, The Official SAT Study Guide, and the ACT Aspire program.
Results from last year's classes showed a 21% average increase on SAT scores from the beginning to the end of the school year!

현재 CATS ACADEMY BOSOTON 에 다니고 있는 학생들은 2015년 1월 12 일 시작 하니까 1월 11일에는 도착을 하셔야 하고
2015년 1월 학기에 새로 입학하시는 학생분들은 2015년 1월 10일 부터 도착 하셔야 합니다. 기숙사가 1월 10일부터 오픈입니다.
2015년 1월 새로운 입학생들은 1월 10일 오전 8시에서 오후 4시까지 ORIENTATION 에 참가 하게 되시면 그 이후에 도착 하시는 학생들은 모두 기숙사 또는 홈스테이로 바로 가시면 됩니다.

CATS ACADEMY BOSTON 이 내년 2015년 9월 학기부터 새로운 곳으로 이사 갑니다!!!
현재 NEWTON 에서 BRAINTREE 라는 곳으로 대학 캠퍼스와 같이 기숙사, 학교 건물들이 혼연 일체되어 새로 짓고 있으며 약 450개의 SINGLE ROOM 으로 이루어 진 기숙사는 각 방마다 욕실이 갖추어져 있어 호텔식의 고급 기숙사를 경험 하실 수 있습니다.
현재 내년에 배정되는 450여개의 싱글 룸들은 현재 다니시는 학생들에게 무조건 우선 배정 되며 지금 아님 그때 새로오신 학생들은 선착순으로 방이 배정되고 SINGLE ROOM 이 만실 시 학생들은 TWIN 으로 배정되거나 홈스테이로 배정됩니다.
· 2014년 8월7일 오늘 기준으로 약 3주 동안 CATS ACADEMY BOSTON 2014년 9월 학기 입학 가능 기간입니다. 한학기라도 경험을 하고자 하는 분도 가능합니다.
