영국의 학생 비자를 받기 위해서는 SELT 에서 규정한 시험을 보아야만 하는데 한국에서는 IELTS UKVI 테스트만이 이에 해당되며 현재는 영국문화원과 IDP 를 통해서 시험을 볼 수 있습니다. 하지만 시험 비용도 비쌀 뿐만 아니라 시험이 자주 있지 않습니다.
INTO 에서는 이러한 문제의 개선을 위해서 최선을 다하고 있으며 몇가지 좋은 소식을 전해 드립니다.

IELTS UKVI 시험에 대한 자세한 설명 그리고 어떠한 과정에서 이 시험이 필요한지 등에 대해서 안내가 되어 있습니다.
2. JV Centre 즉 INTO Manchester 와 INTO London를 제외한 모든 센터에서 제공하는 Graduate Diploma 및 학사 및 대학원 과정을 지원하는 경우에 IELTS UKVI 시험이 아닌 IELTS Academic 으로도 비자가 가능합니다.
3. 2015년 4월 6일 ~ 4월 23일 사이에 본 IELTS Academic 시험도 INTO 학생은 SELT 로 인정 받을 수 있습니다. 단 2015년 11월 5일까지 비자를 신청해야만 합니다. (첨부한 안내 파일 참고 하세요)
4. University of Stirling(London Campus 포함) 에서는 대학 및 대학원 과정과 함께 Foundation, Diploma 그리고 Graduate Diploma 과정을 함께 묶어서 비자를 받을 수 있도록 CAS 를 발행하며 이러한 경우에 SELT 가 아닌 일반 IELTS 시험 성적으로 비자 신청 가능합니다.(첨부한 안내 파일 참고 하세요)

Nearly half of INTO George Mason University's Graduate Pathways do not require scores for application or progression, which opens the door for many students to be eligible for a variety of programs from seven different Mason graduate schools.
"When I talk to students around the world, they're often concerned about taking these tests and getting the necessary scores to progress to their program," said Ilona Castro, INTO Mason's Marketing and Recruitment Manager. "It’s particularly exciting to be able to offer international students access to some world-class programs – including engineering and education – without the stress of taking these aptitude tests."
In these Pathways, students can focus on developing their academic skills in the real context of their classes rather that worrying about a test.
"Many international students come from rigorous programs in their own countries, but their test scores can be negatively affected by simple cultural differences in how to answer a question on a test," said Mary Richardson, INTO Mason's Graduate Pathway Program Coordinator. "Mason is committed to recognizing their whole academic experience and the many benefits these students bring our programs, classes, and campus."
The following Pathways do not require GRE/GMAT scores:
•6 Pathways, Volgenau School of Engineering: Applied Information Technology, Biostatistics, Computer Forensics, Data Analytics Engineering, Statistical Science, and Telecommunications;
•4 Pathways, College of Education and Human Development: Curriculum and Instruction (Early Childhood for Diverse Learners), Educational Psychology, Special Education, and Sport and Recreation Studies;
•4 Pathways, College of Science: Earth Systems Science, Forensic Science, Geography and Cartographic Sciences, and Mathematics;
•3 Pathways, College of Visual and Performing Arts: Arts Management, Graphic Design, and Music;
•2 Pathways, College of Humanities and Social Sciences: Global Affairs and English (Linguistics)
•2 Pathways, School of Policy, Government, and International Affairs: International Commerce and Policy and Public Policy;
•1 Pathway, School of Conflict Analysis and Resolution: Conflict Analysis and Resolution
For the remaining 25 Graduate Pathways that do require the GRE, INTO Mason offers a unique class (as opposed to a module) that covers testing anxiety management, test-taking strategies, lots of practice, and specialized follow-up coursework for specific sections.
"A major focus is to help as many Graduate Pathway students whose programs require the GRE to be as comfortable with taking the test as possible," said Nicole Sealey, Director of Pathway Programs for INTO Mason, who will also be teaching the GRE Preparation class.

대부분의 호주, 뉴질랜드 등에서 취득한 3년 학사 학위(Ordinary Degree)의 경우에
미국 대학으로 대학원지원시입학이 안되는 것이 일반적이었습니다.
하지만 2014년 8월 가을학기부터 INTO GMU(George Mason University)에서 "Graduate Bridge Program"을 통해서
석사 과정으로 바로 입학이 가능합니다.
또한 이 과정을 하면서 일정 정도의 학점을 병행하여 취득할 수 있습니다.
추가적으로 호주 및 뉴질랜드에서 3년 기간 학사 학위를 취득한 경우에 별도의 영어 성적을 제출하지 않아도 입학이 가능합니다.
