The UK government has announced an important step towards re-opening for international travel! Countries are categorised into 3 different lists: Red, Amber and Green. This week the list of countries for each list has been published. Here's everything you need to know:
Red list
Mandatory hotel quarantine upon arrival and 2 COVID-19 tests.
Amber list
Quarantine at home for 10 days after arriving in the UK and 2 COVID-19 tests.
Green List
No quarantine requirements. COVID-19 Tests upon arrival
Please note that these lists will be updated in the future and countries may be removed or added to a different list. We will of course let you know of any changes!
We want our students to be able to book their English Language Course at St Giles with confidence. Therefore, our Flexible Booking Guarantee will be extended until 31/08/2021.
In line with government guidance, as of 17th May 2021, students are allowed to meet indoors with others and pubs and restaurants have also opened indoors! This week our students can join our virtual and face-to-face activities such as a yoga lesson, games night or gallery tour!

Vaccination for international students in Vancouver
International students aged 18 and above will be eligible to receive a first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by July 1st in British Columbia. And unaccompanied students under 18 years of age are exempt from the mandatory 3-day hotel quarantine.

Greetings from St Giles!
We wanted to let you know that this week is the official first week of our new St Giles Juniors Live courses, a fantastic opportunity for students aged 7-17! St Giles Juniors Live offers a mix of engaging English classes, games, activities and interactive virtual excursions. The course takes place over 20 forty-minute lessons each week, or if your students would prefer a shorter course, 10 lessons per week are also available upon request. These sessions will give the students the chance to practice and improve their English, as well as meet students from around the world and have fun! The course will take place from either 8:00-12:00 BST or 13:00- 16:30 BST, and starts every Monday between now and the 4th May. Our Summer course will then start every Monday from 22nd June.

If you book by 30th April, we are pleased to be able to offer a fantastic discounted price of GBP180 per week!
Don’t forget, we have also launched the St Giles Flexible Guarantee, for bookings at our adult schools received between 16th March and 30th June 2020, which means that students can cancel without homestay or accommodation cancellation charges (only direct charges like express mail fees will be passed on) & can postpone their course until 2021!
