I¡¯m pleased to share the following good news for our Korean students¡¯ achievement! Congratulations to two of our Korean students, Shin Jungwoon and Lee Giseok, who were awarded study grants by the Korean Association in Singapore! They were among only 19 other Korean students from various institutions in Singapore to have received the award. The study grant was awarded based on an appraisal of their personalities, abilities and school results. In addition to Jungwoon and Giseok pursuing their Bachelor¡¯s Degree with University College Dublin and University of Portsmouth respectively, both students are active members in the Korean International Students Society at Kaplan (Kiss-K Singapore), which helps freshman students to adapt to living and studying in Singapore through activities like orientation events, movie gatherings, eSport contests and ¡®SimGaSing¡¯ (a Korean abbreviation for ¡®Singapore if you get bored¡¯), a monthly introduction of what to do and where to go in Singapore. We¡¯re proud of both of them and their achievements and once again, a big shout out to Jeongyun and Giseok for getting having their hard work and contributions recognised. The posts are up on our social media accounts. We tagged both Korean Association Singapore and Kiss K. Please feel free to share this good news in your online social media platform with prospect students.
