| 학교소개 및 특징 | HCC는 워싱턴주 데모인이라는 도시에 있습니다. 씨애틀에서 남쪽으로 차로 20분 정도 떨어져 있습니다. 전 세계 학생들이 많이 입학해 있고, 다양한 전공으로 다양한문화와 경험을 가질수 있는 미국 서부의 최고의 교육 주인 워싱턴 주에 위치하고있습니다. 4년제 대학교로 편입도 많이 이루어지고있는 대학교라서 가까운 U of W 나 UCLA, UCLV, CSU 계열 대학교로 편입도 잘 되어 지고 있는 워싱톤 주에서 몇 안되는 CC 입니다. |

High School Transcript in English TOEFL Alternatives (조건부입학가능및 조건아래참조) The following students can be accepted to Highline without the TOEFL: 1.Students who graduated from any U.S. high school or a school with which Highline has established an agreement. ◾Malaspina International High School (Canada) - Graduation with recommendation letter 2.Students who attended at least one year at a high school in one of these countries: Canada, England, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland, Scotland. 3.Students who attended an accredited International School. Transcripts, official exam results, or a letter from the school on letterhead must accompany the Highline application. 4.Students who scored at the level indicated on the following tests: ◾Kaplan TOEFL Practice Test score of 480/157 ◾STEP/EIKEN Test: Pre-first Grade level ◾IELTS - 5.0 with no band lower than 5.0 ◾Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) - a score of C or better ◾GCE (General Certificate of Education) - O or A Levels with C or better on the English test ◾IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) - Grade E or better in English ◾HKALE (Hong Kong Advanced Level Exam) - Grade E ◾Cambridge Exam - O or A Levels ◾South Seattle Community College - Level 5 ◾PLI (Canada) - Level B2 5.Students who have attended an approved ESL program within the United States can be accepted without a TOEFL score. The TOEFL is waived for students from the following schools at the level indicated: ◾ALPS Language School - Level 4 & 5 ◾American Cultural Exchange (ACE) - Level 5 ◾Central Washington University-UESL- Level 4 ◾Concord - Level 6 ◾EF International Language Schools - Advanced C1-3 or Advanced C2 or Institutional TOEFL from EF ◾ELC (English Language Center) - Level 600A ◾ELS Language Centers - Level 107 ◾FLS International Intensive English Programs - Level 7 ◾International House - Level 5 with recommendation letter ◾Kaplan Aspect - High Intermediate Level ◾New England School of English - Level 10 ◾North Seattle Community College - ESL Level 5 or 6 then take COMPASS test scoring 081 or higher ◾Poly Language Institute - Level 7 with advisors recommendation letter ◾Washington Academy of Languages - College Preparation 1 ◾Washington State University (WSU) -IALC - Level 4 |
