High School Transcript in English TOEFL Alternatives (Á¶°ÇºÎÀÔÇа¡´É¹× Á¶°Ç¾Æ·¡ÂüÁ¶) The following students can be accepted to Highline without the TOEFL: 1.Students who graduated from any U.S. high school or a school with which Highline has established an agreement. ◾Malaspina International High School (Canada) - Graduation with recommendation letter 2.Students who attended at least one year at a high school in one of these countries: Canada, England, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland, Scotland. 3.Students who attended an accredited International School. Transcripts, official exam results, or a letter from the school on letterhead must accompany the Highline application. 4.Students who scored at the level indicated on the following tests: ◾Kaplan TOEFL Practice Test score of 480/157 ◾STEP/EIKEN Test: Pre-first Grade level ◾IELTS - 5.0 with no band lower than 5.0 ◾Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) - a score of C or better ◾GCE (General Certificate of Education) - O or A Levels with C or better on the English test ◾IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) - Grade E or better in English ◾HKALE (Hong Kong Advanced Level Exam) - Grade E ◾Cambridge Exam - O or A Levels ◾South Seattle Community College - Level 5 ◾PLI (Canada) - Level B2 5.Students who have attended an approved ESL program within the United States can be accepted without a TOEFL score.
