We are the lifelong learning arm of the campus and we have been providing short-courses and certificate programs since 1960. Our goal is to help learners transform lives. We partner with industry experts and UC Davis faculty to offer a variety of learning formats (short-term training courses, certificate programs, and online offerings) for learners of all ages. - What is the Center for International Education? The Center for International Education (CIE) is one of the Centers within UC Davis Extension. CIE creates relationships with universities, students, scholars, recruitment partners, and professionals from around the globe. - Where are we located? The Center for International Education offers classes throughout the UC Davis campus. We recently opened the new International Center building in 2016, which is conveniently located in the heart of campus. This building features classrooms, computer labs, advising spaces, and a multi-purpose room and a large commons area for gatherings. Our close and active relationships with UC Davis departments and colleges have led to a number of cooperative projects that combine training in several areas.
