| 학교소개 및 특징 | 아테네오 마닐라 대학은 필리핀 상위권 사립 대학(필리핀 3대 명문대: University of Philippines, Ateneo de manila university, De la salle University)중의 하나로서 유명한 대학 중 하나입니다. 그 중에서도 특히 외국인들에 인기가 많은 이 대학은 Katipunan Avenue에 위치하고 있으며 Management와 Law등 인문계열이 강세를 보입니다. 또한 학교내 부속 랭귀지 스쿨의 프로그램도 잘 짜여 있기 때문에 좋은 평판을 얻고 있습니다. 필리핀의 영웅이자 독립 운동가 '호세 리잘'이 나온 학교이며 수많은 역대 대통령을 배출시키기도 했습니다. 뿐만 아니라 필리핀 재벌 등 명문가 자재들이 많이 다니고 있으며 모교에 대한 재학생들의 긍지가 남다릅니다. 많은 명문가 집안의 자재들이 재학 중이다보니 미국, 영국 등 선진국으로의 유학율이 높은 대학입니다. 입학 시험 상위 15% 내의 학생들에게 부여되는 'Honors Program'을 이수하게 되면 졸업 후 외국 대학 진학이나 취업시 '아테네오 학생 인증'을 받은 엘리트 학생으로 인식됩니다. 라살대학교처럼 지방 캠퍼스가 없다는 것이 이 학교의 특징입니다. |
