 평일(월~금) 점심시간, 라이브 뮤직 즐기기~!!! 밴쿠버 여름, 충분히 즐기고 계신가요~? 점심시간 짧다고 실내에만 계시지 마시고 광합성도 할 겸 친구, 동료들과 함께 점심 들고 밖으로 나오세요! 라이브 뮤직 들으면서 점심 먹으면 매일매일이 소풍 같을듯해요~!!! 언제? 평일(월~금) 12시부터 1시까지 어디? 해밀턴스트릿 (웨스트조지아 스트릿과 랍슨 스트릿 사이) The sounds of summer are here: the CBC Musical Nooners return for their fifth year! These free, live music concerts will be happening every weekday on the CBC plaza on Hamilton Street (between West Georgia and Robson). Grab your lunch, your friends, and your co-workers and join us Monday to Friday from noon - 1 pm. Thursday, July 31 - The Sojourners - Rich soul and gospel with an under current of the blues propels The Sojourners into a rousing, feel good experience. Friday, August 1 -Mad Pudding - An energetic blend of traditional Scottish, Irish and North American tunes blended with a funky rhythm section and innovative arrangements. Tuesday, August 5 - Babe Gurr - has a curious musical mind that makes her a hard one to label. But who would want to? This singer-songwriter and her polished band bring a crowd-pleasing vibe to every show they perform. Wednesday, August 6 - Hilary Grist - She's got a sound that's as comfy as rain and warm as the sun. Indie pop with style.. Thursday, August 7 - Zakiya Hooker comes from American blues royalty. Being the daughter of the legendary Mississippi blues man, John Lee Hooker, Zakiya Hooker and her stellar band deliver a depth for the music that is undeniable. Friday, August 8 - Dawn Pemberton - Funky soul with a modern voice - that's Dawn Pemberton. Yes, Vancouver, it can get funky! Monday, August 11 - The Fugitives - High energy spoken word artists Tuesday, August 12 - Dominique Fricot Wednesday, August 13 - Tonye Aganaba Thursday, August 14 - Colleen Rennison Friday, August 15 - Woodpigeon - You've got like somebody with song title like, "Are you there God?, it's me Mark". Thoughtful charming music that gets your toe gently tapping even while you feel a tug at your heart. Monday, August 18 - Roy Forbes - A voice you never forget, Roy Forbes sings folk music with conviction and authority. Tuesday, August 19 - BESTiE - A perfect summer band that mixes pure pop with the sounds of places where summer never ends. Wednesday, August 20 - Murray Porter -Mohawk First Nations blues singer songwriter, this Juno award winning piano player will move you with his thought provoking lyrics and toe tapping tunes. Thursday, August 21 - Dan Moxon Trio - For a man with such a beautiful voice, Dan Moxon sure knows how to rock. The man who leads Bends Sinister likes to step out from time to time on his own and it's always a musical treat. Friday, August 22 - The Paperboys - The Paper Boys blend folk, latin, pop, celtic....yes all this and more, but they do it with a deft ease that makes you lose track of anything but good musical times.
