일명 게이 퍼레이드! 발룬티어 소식입니다. ㅎㅎ
밴쿠버에서 꼭 한번 봐야 하는 큰 퍼레이드죠 ~ 밴쿠버가 북미지역에서 가장 큰 Gay Society가 있는 곳이라고 합니다.
랍슨, 덴만, 데이비에 사시는 분들은 이미 길 곳곳에 레인보우 플래그가 걸린 것 보셨을 것 같네요 ㅎㅎ 심지어 덴만&랍슨에 세이프웨이는 아예 간판에다 아주 크게 걸어 놨더라구요.
소개해드릴 발룬티어는 두종류 인데요, 하나는 퍼레이드 발룬티어, 다른하나는 이벤트 발룬티어 랍니다!
Parade volunteers
Volunteer for the largest single-day event in British Columbia! Parade volunteers fulfill a number of essential roles for the successful operation of the Pride Parade. Volunteers are needed to setup, monitor and teardown the Parade route, manage crowds and traffic along the Parade route, set a consistent pace, carry rainbow flags, and providing logistical support during the Parade.
Parade volunteer roles include:
• Staging Area Marshal
• Parade Route Marshal
• Pace Maker / Flag Bearer
• Environment Crew
• Moving Marshal
• Dispersal Area Marshal
• Accessibility Support Lead
• MC Assistant
• Traffic Control
Event volunteer
Vancouver Pride holds 6 major events each year and we couldn't do it without the support of our event volunteers! Event volunteers are responsible for the operations of events. From setup to teardown, volunteers support our staff to run our events. We have lots of great volunteer opportunities suited for all interests and abilities.
Event volunteer roles include:

• Food and Beverage Servers
