PBRS Withdrawal and Refund Policy:

There was no National competition in 2019 but we are very proud of our students great achievements at Auckland Regional Hospitality Championship in 2019. We understand that students are eager to study and felt a bit distant due to COVID 19 that they couldn't complete their English requirements to be eligible for the program, but PBRS has registered for IELTS Indicator giving students a chance to appear for their IELTS from home. We are delighted to announce that PBRS has formed a pathway for Bachelors degree for its students at the top notch Hospitality College in France, Ecole Ducasse
We have developed an articulation agreement between PBRS and Ecole Ducasse that Ecole Ducasse will recognise our PBRS International Diploma in Food Preparation and Cookery Supervision (Advanced) Level 5 programme so that our successful graduates have the opportunity to continue with Semesters 3,4,5 and 6 for the award of their Bachelor in Culinary Arts at Ecole Ducasse in France.

It's only been Week 6 for our new students and they've been trained to work on Cafe service. PBRS focusses on offering the perfect mix of practical and theoretical training to equip the students for the skills required to confidently serve food and beverages in a caf? or bar environment.
The Professional Business & Restaurant School (PBRS) which is part of Cornell Education Group participated in the Auckland Regional Hospitality Championships 2019 on 24th June. PBRS entered 26 students in 13 different categories this year with outstanding success

This gratifying result is a reflection of all the extra hours of work and passion that our Cookery and Hospitality tutors put in to ensure that our students received excellent training, that is up to date and relevant to the cookery / hospitality industry in New Zealand.
Cookery student ZHENG Zhihua (International Diploma in Food Preparation and Cookery Supervision (Advanced)( Level 5) won Gold for Live Salmon, Live Dessert, and Bronze for Live Knife Skills. After one month hard training, I finally got two gold and one bronze. Thanks to all chefs and Program Managers contribution and full support from my school. This competition has been great in improving my skills and learning new and different cooking techniques. I am looking forward to getting better performance and better results at the national competition as well.
