Here are some updates about TALK:
- Schools Reopening Dates
- We’re planning to reopen all TALK schools by August 2nd.
- At this moment, we’re planning to reopen TALK Boston and Atlanta first in early July and then reopen the rest of TALK schools on August 2nd. This is subject to change.
- We’ll make sure to keep you updated about the reopening. If you have any special inquiries, please don’t hesitate to let me know!
- In-person classes & Online classes
After we reopen, some classes will be taught in-person and some will remain online.
- General English: hybrid
- Business English, TOEFL: to be finalized
- PDP (Professional Certificate Class): online
- Professional Development Activity = PDA (Non-paid internship): in person
3. No mandatory quarantine
TALK English Schools follow the CDC COVID-19 guidelines. On their website, CDC suggests that international travelers stay home and self-quarantine for a full 7-10 days after arrival. However this is suggested, not mandatory. TALK English Schools doesn’t require students to do self-quarantine or self-isolation after arrival.
4. COVID-19 vaccine
- All TALK students can register for COVID vaccination after arrival, it’s free of charge!!
- The Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) single-dose vaccine is now available at SFO Medical Clinic. All individuals 18 years of age and older, including arriving and departing passengers of any nationality, are welcome! https://www.flysfo.com/travel-well/vaccination-site-sfo
- For Pfizer and Moderna, 3-4 weeks are required between 2 shots, so please make sure your students stay in the U.S. for enough time.
