We hope you are all doing well and expect you are getting ready for the holiday season. Did you know NSISP graduating students are eligible to participate in a special pathway agreement the NSISP has with Nova Scotia?s post-secondary providers? This program provides students an amazing opportunity not even available to Nova Scotia students! More details on this pathways agreement can be found here https://nsisp.ca/sites/default/files/documents/edunova-flyer-small3.pdf.
We are also pleased to announce a substantial offer by Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) to NSISP graduates and remind you of the existing agreement with Mount Allison University (Mt. A) in New Brunswick. Please read below for more details:
Nova Scotia Community College
Continue learning and living in Nova Scotia after high school. NSCC is excited to partner with NSISP and offer a tuition incentive to their graduates. Become a NSCC student directly after you graduate and receive domestic tuition rates for the duration of your NSCC program. This is a savings of close to $7,000 CAD per year. (2020 tuition rates - $3,515 domestic, $11,350 international). Ensure your homestay coordinator knows your plans to attend NSCC and provides a letter indicating you are in the NSISP program. After graduation in June, NSCC will apply the tuition discount to ensure you will pay domestic tuition.
Mount Allison University
Mount Allison University is proud to continue our commitment to international students enrolled in the NSISP program through our Nova Priority Program. With the Nova Priority program, international students registered with the NSISP program graduating from Nova Scotia high schools will be charged domestic tuition fees for the first two years of their degree program at Mount Allison an estimated overall savings of $18,600 (CAD). This program also honors the same admissions conditions as the pathways agreements with Nova Scotia universities. Mt. A was recently named the top undergraduate university in Canada for the 21st consecutive year. For more information on the Nova Priority Program please contact international@mta.ca.
Last year 38% of NSISP graduating students decided to stay in the province for a university or college program. We encourage you to share this information with your students and their parents and to consider NSCC and Mt. A as options for your students post-secondary studies.

Greetings from beautiful Nova Scotia. The colourful leaves are now falling and as our weather changes we gradually shift from autumn into winter. Therefore, we begin to look forward to welcoming new students for our second semester in February. Our application deadline for February enrollment is November 30th and we still have space available for your students.
The second semester with the NSISP (February 3 - June 30, 2020) provides students with a unique opportunity to experience Canadian culture by trying out winter sports and activities like skating, sledding, and skiing, and by joining clubs available at schools throughout the province. Students who enroll for second semester are here for spring and the beginning of summer and can participate in school sports like badminton, rugby, track and field, and softball. At the end of the year, students have the opportunity to attend their end of the year school festivities including prom and graduation. From tuxedos and formal dresses to graduation caps and gowns, they can have an experience just like in the movies.
Remember, there is still time for students to apply. Don't miss out in offering Nova Scotia as an education destination to your students starting in February 2020.
Warm regards,
Andrea
