보스턴은 Harvard University, MIT, Boston University 등의 세계적 명문대학을

비롯한 40여 개 이상의 종합 및 단과 대학이 시내 및 주변 지역에 위치하고 있는

고등 교육과 의료의 중심지입니다.

1630년, 영국의 청교도들이 식민지 개척자들이 도시를 세워 18세기 말, 보스턴 학살,

보스턴 차 사건 등의 미국 독립 혁명의 중요한 사건의 배경이 된 미국의 역사를 고스란히

유매스보스턴의 대학 캠퍼스는

보스턴 다운타운 가까이에 자리하고 있으며,
