Travelling to London
Our London school is temporarily closed for face-to-face lessons but courses are available online. Students whose courses are due to start in the next weeks if they are able to travel to London may join an online course until the school reopens for face-to-face lessons. Students who wish to postpone their courses should contact london@francesking.com
Here is a summary of current travel arrangements.
All UK travel corridors are temporarily suspended from Monday 18 January 2021 to protect against new international variants of the coronavirus. This emergency measure is expected to be in place for at least one month.
All passengers arriving into the UK must:
have proof of a negative coronavirus test. The test must be taken 3 days before the journey. The test must meet certain performance standards (see requirements). Children under 11 and people with certain medical conditions are exempt.self-isolate for 10 days on arrival (with the option of shortening this to five days under the test to release scheme). New travel ban affecting South American countries and Portugal
From Friday 15 January 2021, all flights and passengers from the following countries are banned from entering the UK: Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Cape Verde, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Paraguay, Panama, Portugal, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, Venezuela.
